Our Story Begins Here
High Linn Farms is part of a family heritage that reaches back more than 150 years in the Prescott, Kansas area. Our great-grandfather, a Union soldier in the Civil War, settled on the Kansas side of the state line 4 miles east in 1869. The current farm has been in our family for over 75 years, first established by my father.
Located on the southeastern edge of the Kansas City/Overland Park metro region, High Linn Farms still reflects the character of an earlier time. Most elements of the original 1910-era development remain, built when horsepower, not engines, powered daily life. Today, our goal is to preserve and restore these historic structures while caring for the land for future generations.
